The Story
This is not a marine science course…
And it isn't a conventional dive holiday either.
This is an invitation to spend a week alongside two people who have spent more than four decades living alongside one extraordinary coral reef. Seeing life on the reef through their eyes and sharing in the story behind the what it is like to live entwined in nature for over 25 years. Jill and Grant have watched cyclones reshape the underwater landscape. They have seen generations of fish and coral communities change. They have spent thousands of hours beneath the surface simply observing.
For The Very First Time
Jill and Grant Kelly are opening up their world in a very special way - inviting a small group to spend an entire week experiencing Uepi alongside them.
To dive the places they choose to dive. To slow down and look at the things they stop to look at. To hear the stories behind the places they have returned to for decades. To share what they have learned, what they are still learning, and to become part of the work they are doing on the reef today.
There will be a plan for the week…
But the ocean gets the final say.
The Mindset

This experience is deliberately designed for confident, experienced divers who are completely comfortable in the water and don't need to be looked after underwater.
We want people who are all in!
People who can arrive without a checklist of what they expect to see. Who don't need every dive to deliver a particular animal, encounter or photograph. Who understand that exploring a wild marine environment means accepting that no two days - and no two weeks - are ever the same.
